What Happens to Your Resume
This page covers the Resume Reviewer tool specifically — it's the only place on this site that handles anything you paste in.
What's sent, and where
When you click Get Feedback, your resume (and job description, if you added one) is sent directly to Anthropic's API to generate your review. It is not sent anywhere else.
What's stored, on this site
Nothing. This tool has no database, no accounts, and no server-side storage — your resume passes through to Anthropic's API and back, and that's it. Your browser may keep a local draft on your own device (see below), but that never leaves your machine.
Local drafts
To save you from re-typing after a refresh, the Resume Reviewer can save your last draft in your browser's local storage. That draft stays on your device — it's never transmitted anywhere until you click Get Feedback. You can clear it any time from the tool page.
Anthropic's own retention
Once your resume reaches Anthropic's API, it's subject to Anthropic's own data retention and usage terms, not this site's — see Anthropic's privacy policy for details on how they handle API data.
